Bump beneath the screen after battery replacement

Hello there !

I replaced the battery on an iPhone 12 mini and all went fine, except for the adhesive. I always feel lile there is a throne on my side after applying the new adhesive. I mean that it never sitts like the original one did. However, enough about the adhesive, lets talk about the problem....

When i returned everything back and started preparing to heat the phone again to make sure the adhesive does its best, i noticed that there is a bump beneath the screen, no matter how hard i try to push the screen back to its place, nothing clicks. as if there is something beneath it preventing the screen to stick to back on to the frame.

I removed the screen again to examine if there was a screw unsecured or som adhesive stopping the screen from taking its place, and made another mess with adhesive again, but no avail...

I went to the internet to examine if the metal hinges might be the cause, but no results after two hours of search. The bump is in that metal hinge area, and it is driving me bananas.

What is the problem ? If i leave it like this, any fall or physical shock will seperate the screen from the metal frame. It wont stick.

I ordered a pair of new adhesive kits to retake the adhesive battle to its absolute end, i want to feel satisfied with the repair. And the bump together with the adhesive are my obstacles, any suggestions ?

Start by cleaning off the adhesive, then fix the bump before attempting any more glue. It would be extremely helpful for us to see what you see, so adding pictures of both the rear side of the display and the opened phone may allow the experts on here to spot something. If you can mark the area where you're seeing the problem, that would be so much the better.
