Why is my the iPad shutting off by itself?

Just replaced digitizer and screen on iPad 6. After putting back together the iPad keeps shutting off. What is wrong? How can I fix it?

Is it a boot loop? does the apple logo appear, go away, then come back endlessly without ever going to the lock screen?
