pls I forgot my bios password and my laptop is locked how can I unlock

Pls my system keeps restarting I can remember the password and also I want to know how to reset the bios password if what I think is the password is incorrect also

Options

Usually taking the CMOS battery of of the motherboard for about 30 minutes will clear the memory (including any set passwords). However, it looks like you have to strip the machine down to nothing to get to the battery! See page 77 of the service manual here Maintenance And Service Guide
