This is the first generation of the Ford Escape, a compact crossover SUV. Production started in 2000 for the 2001 model year.

Options

New battery. Light still comes on dash. Tested it multiple times at auto zone and Oreillys and no alternator issues.

Options

Assuming it totally passed the tests at AZ and O'R, it might be an ECU problem.
