I have a black bar down the right side of my tv where the picture cuts

I have a samsung UA50MU7000. I noticed a space of about 5cm start flickering on the right side of the screen and eventually it just went black. I can still watch tv as the rest of the screen is fine

Does anyone know what the problem could be and is it repairable
