My oculus wont turn on have not used it in 8 month and wont charge

so i have not used my oculus in 8 months been in my closet with no windows and wont turn on or charge power cords i tried on it work but dont charge my oculus light wont trun on and alos i used the same charger it cam with then i used a iphone type c charge to still doesnt charge no light wont turn on is battery dead do i need to replace my battery
