Stuck in boot loop, works when display ribbon disconnected.

Hi all, looking for some assistance in repairing a Samsung QLED TV QE50Q60TAUXXU. I've purchased this hoping I can repair it and save myself a few quid buying new. Out of the blue it stopped powering on according to the previous owner, it seems to begin startup but then shorts and starts the process again after a couple seconds. Sometimes it's long enough to start playing sound, sometimes nothing at all. The whole time it's doing that the screen is just lighting up but giving no image.

I have followed all the standard troubleshooting steps with no luck, have taken the back off and after reading online tried disconnecting the display ribbon from the main board and powering on again. This seems to do the trick as it goes through the normal startup process and the backlight stays on (obviously without an image).

This is where my level of knowledge runs out, my gut tells me that something from the ribbon onwards is shorting the TV out, causing the constant booting. I did try reconnecting the ribbon after it had started (suggested by someone with a similar sounding issue) but it went straight back to the boot loop again. I'll add a bunch of images of the components in the TV below, hopefully somebody here with more experience can help put me on the right track! Cheers in advance.

Additional testing has shown that the left hand display board (right when looking at the back of the TV) is the issue, as the device powers on without issue when this is disconnected from the other half of the TV. So I'm guessing it's an LED or other Diode in this setup causing the issues somewhere...

More information after further testing. Tried the tape trick as discussed on a few places online, seem to have found the correct connectors as the TV now powers on with all components connected. Progress! However after lifting the TV back up to check it's clear that there is no image, device is working normally and sound is working without issue (can blindly navigate the menu and press the home button which gives expected responses). Shall keep testing, but if anyone has any bright ideas feel free to let me know.
