Please Answer this, I have Toshiba satellite L50 and It won't turn on?

Hey I have a Toshiba Satellite L50D-B But the problem is That ME and my friend were going to format the Laptop so we did what we have to do at that time I was like 13yrs old I don't know that much but I know that We Got into The BIOS System and on the Boot Mode we change something into UEFI Mode and then we saved then we restart The laptop, After the restart the Laptop Become black screen I mean I can Clearly See that The Laptop is Turning on But It is Black screen. So please help me fix this. WHAT Should I Do?

@elnatan sounds like you ended up with a failed BIOS. We will need to know what motherboard your computer has. It will be printed on the motherboard (something like DA0BLKMB6E0 etc.). that way we can determine if you board uses a CMOS battery and/or if it needs to be reset by bridging some solder pads. It's a Toshiba, so we can't expect much help with this. Toshiba is pretty much as paranoid as Apple when it comes to self repair. They do not support any of it.

@oldturkey03 thanks for the Answer,but as you said I opened The Laptop and Check That if It has the CMOS battery But I couldn't Find it, I googled to get some information - I even asked One of the Memebers Of Microsoft community and They Said that My laptop type Does Not Have Cmos Battery.

I was Thinking of what you said The "bridging some solder pads" what's that?

I asked the Maintenance And he said that The BIOS has failed and When He Tried Using another Toshiba's BIOS on my laptop The laptop turned on and The Logo appears but It's stuck at the logo and Somethimes after the Logo Toshiba appears it becomes black again And we Asked him what should we do He said you Have to Buy the Exact BIOS Of the laptop. AND on my Country It's not Available so Please what should I do?

@elnatan We will need to know what motherboard your computer has. It will be printed on the motherboard (something like DA0BLKMB6E0 etc.) we also need toknow the exact model number fir your computer. We can then try and help you find a bios
