MacBook isn't indicating that it's charging after battery replacement
I recieved my iFixit battery replacement kit yesterday and worked on it all night following each step all the way through. I plugged in my laptop to charge it as per the instructions and waited a little while before attempting to turn it on. There is no indication it was charging at all, and it didn't do anything when pressing the power button. I left it connected to charge over night and still dead this morning. I opened up the base and went through all of the connections I could see and don't think I'm missing anything, although I didn't pull the motherboard out again. The one thing I did damage id the board connector for the left speaker as it ripped away from the board when I was trying to pry it up. I had consigned myself to just not having functioning speakers, but now I'm worried it's causing another issue?
Please help me with troubleshooting! What could I be missing here?
