top case compatibility with MacBook Pro

I was wondering if an EMC 2136 top case would work on my MacBook Pro "Core 2 Duo" 2.4 15-Inch (Early 2008/Penryn) A1260 model? I found one on Ebay and don't want to purchase it till I know for sure. The guy said the part number is 922-8531. But on the picture on the back of the top case it has EMC2136 which when I did some research found that that top case was for a MacBook Pro "Core 2 Duo" 2.4 15-Inch (Santa Rosa) features a 2.4 GHz "Core 2 Duo" processor (T7700) from 2007. Correct me if i'm wrong. So just need to know if I could put that one in my early 2008 macbook pro?
