There are two versions of the logic board in this series one with just the built-in HD Graphics 3000 engine in the CPU (Macmini5,1 & Macmini5,3) and the second with the additional dedicated graphics Radeon HD 6630M (Macmini5,2)
The systems cooling was not very good so it often killed the Radeon HD 6630M GPU, more so running lots of heavy graphics.
In either case replacing the full logic board is really the only way to fix this.
-Given the cost it might be wise to just replace the mini with a newer 2018 model. Apple improved the cooling quite a lot and while some people will argue the loss of the dedicated GPU might be an issue for some I think for most its OK. Intels newer IG tech is much better than what the 2011 had back in the day.
