Looking at this [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrYQnhtOQfo|video] it doesn’t appear that the battery is glued down as there is no residual glue etc showing where the battery had been situated once it was removed. Maybe because it is swollen it has jammed in position.

It was lifted straight out. Maybe because it is swollen it has jammed in position.

See if you can lever it out without damaging anything, especially the battery.
