@linch this sounds like you are having trouble with the charging port or the SlimPort ANX7443 1937 E006AB USB Type-C Power Management Delivery Controller IC Chip. Check the charging port first. Look for bend or broken pins etc. If it is okay, you most likely will have to change the IC. It is a QFN package so you will need to use a hot air rework station. for the location of the IC etc. we would need to see your motherboard. Post some good pictures of that with your Question. Hopefully we can identify and point it out to you.
