Cracked screen

Ma solution

I used a knife instead of the tool. I broke all the plastic where the screws hold the face down. The ifixit guide was spot on and really helpful, the screen worked perfect once it was installed. Wish I would have just bought a battery while I was in there and a new face plate.

Mon conseil

Get the tools. Think ahead too. If it's older it probably could use a new battery. Might as well replace it while you're in there.
