Local supplier couldn't source the battery for a 3rd gen Ipod Touch

Mon problème

The battery died in my Ipod, and while its an old model it still works perfectly ok. Took it to a local support provider and the message was that there was no chance of getting a battery in NZ. Quick google search later, an order to iFixit, and the a week or so later a replacement turns up.

Ma solution

I simply handed over the battery and Ipod to an apple repair agent - and the result is a fully restored device. Very happy!

Mon conseil

We live in an age where manufacturers expect you to upgrade every couple of years - fortunately there are companies that provide support for people like me that have no reason replace a perfectly good device!
