It went pretty well. Had my GF assist by holding a light and making sure I don't miss any important steps. Once you find the screwdrivers needed it wasn't hard (borrowed a kit from a friend with way more than I needed).

Mon conseil

Remember to have an especially soft touch with the internals of your laptop, (especially for someone new to working with electronic device internals), ensure you study the images supplied, make sure you're properly oriented.

With the help of ifixit I would try another repair, hoping it's not in the near future tho.
