Ma solution

The repair went smooth and fine. It took me approximately 30 minutes to replace the trackpad and reajust its depth. Tools were really helpful! I just had a bit of an issue with a couple of screws that were holding the trackpad, but iFixit provided spare ones!!

My advice: Rely on the guide, it is REALLY well documented, with clear pictures and details on how to avoid mistakes. I will definitely trust iFixit to replace my iPhone 4 battery later!
