Flip the phone over, so that the back of the phone is facing you.

Using an opening pick, pry open the back cover of the phone by moving the opening pick along all sides to reveal the internal components.

Remove the battery connection from its connector port, located above the battery.

Similarly, remove the screen connection from its connector port, found on the left side of the back of the device.

Pull up with tweezers on the dark orange cable to disconnect it.

Disconnect the orange cable by pulling the connector piece up with your fingers

Pull up with tweezers on the end of the white wire to disconnect it from the motherboard

Using the metal spudger, pull up from below the motherboard at the top of the phone and near the battery to remove the motherboard from the phone.
