    • Please disconnect the device and let it sit for 10 minutes so any fuses can drain before beginning this guide.

    • Turn over the device and place it on its head. Remove the four 14mm screws holding the bottom using a TR15 screwdriver.

    • Remove both 14mm screws from the power cord casing using a Phillips #2 screwdriver.

    • Remove the power cord casing from the device case.

    • Trace the two grey cables of the ACLI plug to their white wire connectors. Pinch the wire connector and pull out the wire connector with pliers.

    • Keep record of which independent wire went to which wire connector.

    • Heat up the end of the wire from the tip of the solder iron.

    • While the wire is still hot, untwist the wires using pliers.

    • If other wires are obstructing each other, you can cut the black zip tie holding together the wires for more room.

    • During reassembly, twist each independent end of wire into each other with pliers until the twisted wire’s end is pointed.

    • Gently free the wire from the power cord casing with a spudger.

    • The cable may be too tight to pull out from the power cord casing. If you struggle to pull the cable out, use the pointed end of a spudger to free the cable from the power cord casing.

    • Pull the ACLI cable out from the power cord casing with your hands.

    • Pull the entire ACLI cable out of the device.

    • During reassembly, do not use a metal spudger to push the cable back into the power cord casing. You might break the cable’s insulation when applying force to the cable with a metal spudger.
