    • Safety Procedures:

    • Shutdown and Disable Power Supply: 1. Disconnect adapter. 2. Press F1 key to enter BIOS setup powering up Laptop. 3. Go to Configuration menu. 4. Select Power and press Enter. 5. Highlight Disable Built-in Battery and press Enter. 6. Confirm by selecting "Yes" and pressing Enter. 7. System will power down, and disabled battery.

    • Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Safety: 1. Ground yourself to prevent static damage by wearing an ESD wrist strap or touching a grounded metal surface.

    • Remove the SIM Card Tray 1. Insert a straightened paperclip into the hole on the SIM card tray. 2. Gently push to eject and remove the tray.

    • Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to unscrew the captive screws from the back of the device. The screws should not be removed from the back panel, so don't try to force them out.

    • Disassemble the Laptop: Remove the Bottom Cover and Battery: 1. Loosen five captive screws on bottom of laptop. 2. Use a non-metallic pry tool to carefully loosen clips along the rear cover. 3. Lift and remove bottom cover. 4. Disconnect internal battery cable from system board. 5. Remove five screws securing the battery and lift it out of system.

    • Use the iFixit opening tool to remove the back case by entering the tip of the tool into the seam and prying up.

    • This can be tough so take your time to undo the clips around the perimeter before removing the back cover.

    • Disconnect Screen Cables: 1. Disconnect the LED camera cable and remove it from its guide. 2. Remove the antenna cables from their guides. 3. Disconnect the LCD cable and remove it from its guide. 4. Remove the Antenna Cables from the guide which is next to LCD cable. 5. Remove three screws from each hinge.

    • Once the back cover is no longer attached carefully remove it by lifting straight up.

    • Use the spudger to disconnect the battery from the motherboard at the connector socket.

    • Use the Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove five 4 mm screws around the battery.

    • Lift the battery out of the laptop by lifting up.

    • Disconnect the fan connector from the moetherboard with a spudger or opening tool.

    • Loosen the seven screws surrounding the fan and heatsink using the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    You do not have to remove the heatsink from the motherboard, it is a waste of screw turns and time. Just remove the motherboard with the heatsink attached.

    • Carefully remove the fan from the laptop by lifting it up and off the frame.

    • Disconnect the motherboard connectors with a spudger or opening tool.

    • Use the Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove nine 5 mm screws around the motherboard.

    • Loosen the sixty-eight 2 mm screws using the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    This step is from another device by mistake I think. There are no screws to be loosened after step 11.

    Looks like you have the wrong Model, I do have these screws.

    Only counted 64 screws. 66 including the screws underneath the left and right clickers above the trackpad.

    To remove the keyword you must also remove 2 screws under the left and right clickers of the trackpad.

    • Carefully remove the motherboard from the laptop by lifting it up and off the frame.

    Out of order, remove motherboard before removing screws

    Fails to cover what to do with the right and left clicker and how to un-fasten them from the chassis, which I am stuck on. No screws but bolted in somehow…

    Last step is to pop off the left and right and remove the screws from there, the. The keyboard should be good to remove.
