Are the 14 Pro/Max using TLC or QLC NAND?

boris_dg - Réponse

Nobody idea?

boris_dg -

Possibly TLC, but so far I know, the NADA on pro and pro max at least from 3 suppliers. Hope no QLC

Do all models have the satellite hardware or only the US model? Would be a shame if they can't add more countries for the SOS feature because the hardware is missing.

Which chip is responsible for the new dual frequency GPS? Is there an additional GPS antenna for L5 band? Improved GPS in all models? Because sadly I see absolutely no GPS accuracy improvement in Switzerland with 14 Pro Max compared to 13 Pro Max (using iOS 16.0.1).

So many questions. Hope they can be answered. Tnx for your great work iFixit team!

Qualcomm SDR735 RF transceiver might include GPS(GNSS) L1+L5 support.
