Disconnect the interconnect cable

  • Use the tip of a spudger to lift up the locking tab on the ZIF connector.

  • Use tweezers, or your fingers, to grip the blue pull tab on the interconnect cable and disconnect it.

  • During reassembly:

  • Inspect the ends of the cable and the ZIF connectors for any remaining coating that could prevent a good connection.

  • Peel off the coating, heating the cable and the ZIF connector when the coating becomes too brittle.

  • It doesn't have to look pretty! You just need to remove enough coating to have the cable sit properly in the connector.

Koppel de interconnectkabel los

Gebruik de punt van je spudger om de vergrendeling op het ZIF-contact omhoog te klappen.

Gebruik een pincet of je vingers om de blauwe treklip op de interconnectkabel vast te pakken, weg te trekken en de kabel los te koppelen.

Bij het weer in elkaar zetten van je toestel:

Controleer je de uiteinden van de kabel en de ZIF-aansluitingen op resten van de coating die een goede verbinding in de weg zouden kunnen zitten.

Verwijder de coating van het contact en de aansluiting. Gebruik indien nodig meer warmte om de coating te kunnen verwijderen.

Het hoeft er niet mooi uit te zien! Je moet enkel voldoende coating verwijderen om de aansluiting goed in het contact aan te kunnen sluiten.
