Cuisinart DGB-650 Coffee Is Not Hot

If your Cuisinart DGB-650 Grind & Brew™ Thermal 10-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker is not making hot coffee, check out these steps to resolve the issue.

Open the bottom of the coffee maker by removing the four screws and check the coils. They should be exposed to showcase any burnt area or visible cracks within the heating element.

Check the machine’s user manual and verify that the coffee maker is set to brew at the correct temperature. If the setting is correct and the coffee is still lukewarm or cold, reset the machine and again.

If there are any hard water stains that might be congealed around the heating coil, simply grab a nylon pipe cleaner / bristle brush to scrub off any resistant spots. We recommend using hot water or isopropyl alcohol to remove the hard water stains.
