- Computer Science—I chose computer science because it requires complex problem-solving, and I get immense satisfaction from finding solutions and implementing them.
- I want to be a software developer for a smaller company and, on the side, hold a leadership position at a Church. I hope to be the best I can be in my career and do the most with the skills God has given me.
- My biggest skill and the one I am most proud of is problem-solving. I am good at figuring out what the problem is, diagnosing it, and finding a creative solution to it.
- I currently have an internship at a software development company in Dallas that I've been working at for over a year now. I love what I do and plan on continuing with it! I've made my own game by myself from scratch, and do fun side projects revolving around computer science.
- I've built my personal computer and have had to repair and fix issues with it. I would like to learn how to fix cars so that I can prevent issues with my car and save money instead of having to go to a mechanic.
I received a 'Certificate of Independent Thinkers' from my job for my exemplary work and ability to work with a team. I also completed NASA's High school aerospace scholars program in my junior year of high school.
In my spare time, I play piano, skateboard, code outside of work, read my bible and other books, and go to the gym in the mornings.
- I am currently in a bible study group through my church.
- Professionally this will help me a lot. In my team, the senior developers work on creating documentation for software issues that I and the rest of the team use, and it's paramount that they are well crafted and easy to understand. From this project, I hope to learn more about creating technical documents so that I can implement them at my job and be prepared when I am needed to make them.
- The only thing I would like to add is to, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." Matthew 22:37
