For the 1992 model year, the Civic gained larger dimensions and a more aerodynamic body. The VX trim level lived up to the Civic's subcompact roots as Honda's most efficient vehicle. The performance-oriented Si trim continues to be a favorite among the aftermarket tuning scene to this day.
