Background
Anker released the Select 4 Go under its Soundcore audio brand as an entry-level ultra-portable speaker in the Select line, aimed at shower, pool, and travel use. A single 5 W full-range driver provides audio, and the claimed 20-hour battery runs well beyond most speakers in its size and price class.
The speaker is IP67 rated (dustproof and submersible to 1 m for 30 minutes) and floats. Despite the budget positioning, it works with the Soundcore companion app, which provides a customizable EQ and enables True Wireless Stereo (TWS) pairing of two units. Charging is via USB-C; a cable is included but a wall adapter is not.
The Select 4 Go retails for around $30 (frequently discounted) and is available in Black, Purple, Blue, Minty Green, Pearl White, and Cream White.
Identification
The Select 4 Go is a small fabric-wrapped rounded rectangle with a rubberized control strip along the top (power, Bluetooth, play/pause, and volume buttons), a rubber flap sealing the USB-C port, rubber feet on the bottom that allow driver-up placement, and a loop strap for hanging or clipping to a bag. Despite the similar name, it is larger than and unrelated to the JBL Go 4. The Anker model number is printed on the regulatory label.
