Troubleshooting
If you are facing issues with your GameSir Nova Lite, see these troubleshooting pages:
Background
The Gamesir Nova Lite Controller was released in April 2024. It supports three connectivity options: Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless (via dongle), and wired (USB-C), and was designed to be a more affordable option. It can connect to PC, Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS platforms. The major features of this controller include improved technology, such as anti-stick drift sticks, a mechanical D-pad, two extra back buttons, and trigger stops. The current price for this controller is $24.99, and there are no current failure modes or manufacturing recalls. Most of the common complaints that the Gamesir Nova Lite Controller has are connectivity, durability, and layout issues, and bad controllers. Battery life is average, and charging can be slow. This controller also doesn't have a headphone jack, gyro wheel, or RGB. However, this controller has some positive feedback, such as good value for money, extended battery life, new features, comfort, and flexibility in switching between Bluetooth and dongle, which is smooth and intuitive (PC Gamer).
Identification
The GameSir Nova Lite controller is sold in multiple colors, such as light green, pink, blue, yellow, gray, translucent black, midnight blue, and domino white. The left joystick is placed higher than the right joystick, similar to an Xbox controller. The GameSir Nova Lite has a cross-shaped D-Pad, which is different from the GameSir Nova Lite 2, which features a circular D-Pad. On the front, there is a small button near the bottom that says “M” between the right joystick and D-Pad, and 3 buttons near the top surrounding a “Home” button with the GameSir logo. The GameSir Nova Lite does not feature any buttons on the back of the controller. However, it has 4 trigger buttons and a charging port on the top of the controller. The controller comes with a protective case and a USB receiver.
This controller looks very similar to another GameSir controller, the GameSir Cyclone. However, that controller has buttons on the back and uses the Xbox logo on the front instead of the GameSir logo.
