The Lenovo Thinkpad X380 Yoga is a 2 in 1 laptop created by Lenovo in 2018 as part of their Thinkpad X series.  Released in 2018, as the successor of the Thinkpad X370 Yoga, this laptop was sold in all areas Lenovo officially sold their devices.

Advertised as a 2 in 1 business laptop, this device was targeted towards businesses that wanted a device that was both portable and can do work on.  Compared to its predecessor, the X370, this device only has minor specification upgrades with the build of the laptop being completely identical to the X370.

The one notable feature of this laptop is the 2 in 1 function of the laptop being a Yoga.  The Yoga series is known for its 2 in 1 functionality where the screen of the device, which has touchscreen capabilities, can be flipped 360 degrees to make the device feel like a tablet.

Being a business oriented device, at the time of writing, there have been no known recalls, major issues or complaints for this device.  There has also been no known restriction that has been set after the device went live in terms of where this device can be sold at the time of writing.

This device was discontinued in favour of its successor the X390 Yoga, which has received a complete overhaul compared to the X380.  Its successor has a new case along with improvised specifications compared to its predecessor, running the intel Whisky Lake series CPU.

The ThinkPad X380 is a thin black laptop with a carbon fibre hybrid housing.  This laptop has the text ThinkPad on the top left of the laptop and the letter “i” lights up when powered on.  On the left side of the laptop, the device has a power port, USB-c thunderbolt port, mini Ethernet port, and a USB 3.0 port.  To the right of the device, it has the power button, a 3.5mm audio and mic connector, micro SD slot, USB 3 port, HDMI port and a mini security lock.  It has optionally a smart card slot on the left side, ThinkPad Pen and Nano sim on the right side depending if your model supports these features.  You can find the model number and device information on a sticker at the bottom of the laptop.  This laptop has two variations, being the 20LH and the 20LJ.
