== Background and Identification ==

Announced on February 21, 2016 at Samsung's Mobile World Congress and released in March of the same year, the Galaxy S7 Edge is Samsung's 2016 revision to  the original curved-screen S6 Edge. It was released as the premium alternative to the Galaxy S7. Notable upgrades from last year's model include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 4 GB of LPDDR RAM, and a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 200 GB. The Galaxy S7 Edge can be identified by its top-loading combination SIM and microSD tray, and its model number, SM-G935, printed on the back glass.

Annoncé le 21 février 2016 au Samsung Mobile World Congress et lancé sur le marché en mars de la même année, le Galaxy S7 Edge est la version Samsung 2016 du précurseur de l'écran incurvé, le S6 Edge. Il a été vanté comme l'alternative haut de gamme du Galaxy S7.  Des mises à jour non négligeables par rapport au modèle de l'année dernière incluent le Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 4 Go de LPDDR RAM et une fente de carte microSD permettant d'augmenter la mémoire jusqu'à 200 Go. On reconnaît le Galaxy S7 Edge à son tiroir combiné de carte SIM et microSD et à son numéro de modèle imprimé sur la vitre arrière, SM-G935.
