With the S8 series, Samsung's line of Galaxy phones gets tantalizingly close to the vaunted "nothing but display" ideal. With a curved edge-to-edge display, minimal top and bottom bezels, and a relocated fingerprint sensor, Samsung's smartphones are visually stunning—but like their predecessors, troublesome to repair.

The S8 and S8+ appear almost identical apart from their dimensions and screen size—the larger S8+ features a 6.2" display, with the same 2960 x 1440 resolution as its smaller 5.8" sibling.

Avec la série S8, la gamme des téléphones Galaxy de Samsung se rapproche de l'idéal "rien d'autre qu'un écran". Avec un écran à bords incurvés, des bords supérieurs et inférieurs de taille réduite  et un capteur d'empreintes digitales relocalisé, les smartphones de Samsung sont visuellement étonnants, mais comme leurs prédécesseurs, difficiles à réparer.

Les S8 et S8 + semblent presque identiques en dehors de leurs dimensions et de leur taille d'écran : le S8 + plus grand dispose d'un écran de 6,2 ", avec une résolution de 2960 x 1440 identique à son plus petit frère de 5,8".
