In the event of a power outage, the device can provide up to 600 Watts of power to any device connected to one of the six grounded power sockets on the back. It has two more sockets which are not connected to the battery backup, but are still on a surge protected circuit. The RS 1000 is made of white (or beige after some exposure to sunlight) plastic. It has a red APC logo on the front along with the power button and status indicator lights. |
