This device was released in September of 1990 and was manufactured in Japan. The online literature on the sale and production of the device is very limited due to the fact that the device is no longer manufactured.
Identification
This device is easily distinguishable from other models because the model number is clearly printed on the top of the device. This model is black, rectangular, and has a minimalistic profile. Newer models from Sony have rounded edges and a more egg-shaped profile.
