Background
The Xiaomi 15 is the "vanilla" flagship model by Xiaomi, and were both announced and released in China on October 29th, 2024, with a global release in early 2025.
The Xiaomi 15 boasts its Leica Summilux lenses for the phone's three camera system, each camera with a 50MP sensor, and main camera with Xiaomi's Light Fusion 900 sensor. The smartphone advertises it's Xiaomi HyperAI, driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, with a variable refresh rate CrystalRes Amoled display and prolonged battery life.
The phone comes with a 6.36" display, with a body in the colors White, Green, Liliac, Black and Xiaomi's unique 3D wave textured Liquid Silver.

Software Identification
To identify your phone:
- Open the Settings App
- Scroll to and tap About phone
- Look for Model Name or Device Name.
Alternatively, the phone's model can be determined by the phone's IMEI number, which can be accessed by dialing *#06# and then checking the IMEI number on Xiaomi's Product Authentication page.
Regulatory Information and Model identification
The phone model can be identified among the regulatory information. By the regulatory information on the phone's backside (marked by the red square in the image), the right side will have a model number printed. The Xiaomi 15 includes: 24129PN74G, 24129PN74I and 24129PN74C as model numbers.
Visual Identification
The phone sits in an aluminum frame, and has a rounded rectangular camera house on the backside with three cameras and a fourth camera-alike feature. In the middle of the camera house is the text "Leica Vario-Summilux 1:1.62-2.2/14-60 ASPH." in all capitalization, with the text running parallel to the phone's long edges. To the right of the camera house is a flash. In the bottom left of the backside is Xiaomi's logotype lettering, running lengthwise with the phone, in all capitalization. The bottom right of the phone have regulatory information printed.
The front of the phone has thin bezels with an under screen fingerprint sensor, and a hole punched camera cutout in the top center of the screen. Above the top bezel is a slim speaker grill.
The right side of the Xiaomi 17 features one elongated volume rocker, with a power button right below. The left side of the phone is bare.
The bottom of the phone has an Usb Type-C port in the center, with a pinhole microphone and a NanoSim card slot to the right, and a speaker grill to the left.
