Remove

  • Remove the front fascia. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Install)
  • Remove the bolt that attaches the LH side of the ankle catcher to the front bumper beam.

Torque 16 Nm

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

  • 13 mm socket
  • 3 in extension
  • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
  • Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the front end carrier to the LH front subframe crush can.

Torque 16 Nm

  • Note

Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

  • 13 mm socket

  • 6 in extension

  • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

  • Remove the bolt that attaches the front end carrier to the LH side of the ankle catcher.

Torque 7 Nm

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

  • 13 mm socket

  • 3 in extension

  • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

  • Repeat steps to on the RH side of the vehicle. 2 4

  • While pulling the front end carrier away from the vehicle, slide the ankle catcher down and away from the vehicle, and then set the ankle catcher aside.

  • Remove the bolts that attach the LH front subframe crush can to the front
