Purpose:

To improve equipment reliability by installing:

• new and improved QUAD POWER SUPPLY

• FOAM STRIP to direct the heat away from the ELECTRICAL BOX

Use qualified personnel to install this modification.

Make the necessary changes to the ILLUSTRATED PARTS LISTS:

• 3000 RA PROCESSOR, Publication No. 5B6336

• 270 RA PROCESSOR, Publication No. 2B6844

Dangerous Voltage

• [1] De-energize the PROCESSOR.
• [2] Raise the TOP COVER.
• [3] Remove:
• DRYER END PANEL
• NON-DRIVE SIDE PANEL
• [4] Pull out the ELECTRICAL BOX and open the COVER.
• [5] Remove the 2 SCREWS and POWER SUPPLY COVER.
• [6] Disconnect the 2 CONNECTORS.
• [7] Remove the 4 SCREWS and LOCK WASHERS that hold the QUAD POWER SUPPLY.
• [8] Remove the existing QUAD POWER SUPPLY.
• [9] Install the new QUAD POWER SUPPLY.
• [10] Connect the 2 CONNECTORS.
• [11] Install the COVER on the QUAD POWER SUPPLY.
• [12] Close the COVER and slide the ELECTRICAL BOX back into the PROCESSOR.
• [1] If you have a 270 RA PROCESSOR, advance to Step 3.
• [2] Remove the backing from the new 3.8 x 3.8 x 63.5 cm (1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 25
