MacBook wont install Yoemite

Trying a do a fresh boot with a new hdd and when i use Yosemite USB boot drive it wont read that there is a flash drive in. it will install Snow Leopard but not Lion or Mountain Lion. Any suggestions or ideas on how to fix it?

Can you give us the last four digits of your serial number so we can correctly identify your system. Not all systems are able to support the latest versions of OS-X. Once we can correctly ID your system we can tell you what's up.
