I dropped my galaxy s6 and now it wont turn on?

So I left my phone on top of my car hood and then I forgot I left it there and it dropped while I was driving. So when I picked it up it was all cracked up and everything. The screen doesn't work but when I put it to charge the little blue light from the top left corner came on . So my question is I don't know if it can still be repaired or not. And also I tried connecting my phone to my laptop but it never came up . So I have no idea if it's worth taking it to get repaired and what I have to repair?

Took it apart the exact way it says to and there's nothing wrong with any connections. Screen attempts to turn on but goes black

Sigh. If the Samsung phone doesn't have display but still shows led at top left indicating that it's on after drop then the LCD has gone bad and needs to be replaced. That's all there is to it.

Is it something to do with the AMOLEDS or did Samsung purposely so that?

It's just how the AMOLED screens break. It's always more likely the LCD will go bad after drop without glass breaking or any signs of damage on screen instead of both.

Have you attempted to boot it in recovery mode to see if your laptop register's the phone being plugged in? Try that first because if you've never had the S6 plugged in while it's in recovery mode the laptop will start installing the required driver's once it's plugged in the USB port & if the installation complete's then the phone may still be alive! Here's how to boot it in recovery mode...

Galaxy S6 Recovery Mode:

Power Down the Galaxy S6.

Press and Hold the Power Button, Volume Up Button and the Home Buttons at the Same Time.

Continue Holding These Buttons Until You See Some Blue Text at the Top.

When You See the 'Recovery Booting….” ...

Wait Until the Galaxy S6 Fully Boots into the Recovery Mode.

Sounds like the lcd has broken. No.dofferent to any other phone if a bad impact has happened.

Not the cheapest, but should be a straight forward replacement.
