Administrator Password
Have just upgraded Hdd to SSd and keep getting a request for the admin password 17 digits long every time I switch on. What have I done wrong? just installed Linux Mint does this have anything to do with it?

Yes the Linux everytime needs a login password from the admin to open so you have to change O/S or get used to it ...
I am joking .... to make humor .

Try installing Ubuntu:
ubuntu.com

@nick how? Installing a different os should fix the problem.
