Can I add SSD and HDD like we do on laptops.Need to fit both in, how?

I need to install both SSD and HDD like we can have them both on laptops using caddy,

Is it possible to have them both in my all in one desktop PC.

Solution retenue

One size does not fit all. We can't give a correct answer to that broad a question. You will need to list the make and model numbers of the machines. The SATA bus speeds may be different also.

@mayer - It only has one SATA II (3.0 Gb/s) port. I think the best answer here is upgrading to a Seagate FireCuda SSHD.

@danj I am going sour on the FireCuda drives. I have had two that have come back in after working for a couple of months. Two more 1 TB that right out the package I couldn't see of format. A 2TB right out of the package yesterday that would not read correctly nor am I able to format. So I'm looking for another brand to go to as a standard. I never had these kinds of issues with the old Seagate drives. What are you using?

@mayer - the HP's we've been rolling out come with a dual drive setup out of the box (HD & SSD). It's been awhile since I've needed to put in any HD's, SSHD's or SSD's.

Looks like the rollout will be complete by the end of the year with just a few die-hards that won't switch ;-} I think my days are numbered ;-{
