Can The RAM be upgraded?

Is it even possible to upgrade the RAM beyond 4GB? Is it able to multitask and play full-screen HD video well with only 4gb?

From the few repair guides I see, I have to assume that the RAM is integrated onto the main motherboard and can not be upgraded.
