Read Hard Drive 128GB Samsung 1.8" Sata LIF

My 1st Generation Macbook air has died. Overheated fault on the main board. Power Loop issues. I have retrieved the hard drive out of it.

How do I read it.

Get an 1.8" enclosure?

What do you suggest any links?

What's the difference between ZIF & LIF?

What the easiest cheapest just want to wipe the drive & put it back into

sell the parts on.

Is this drive enclosure the thing to buy?

Can anyone confirm? It looks like it can do the job.

Hi Jason, did you find the enclosure for the 1.8” SATA LIF? I have the same hard drive removed from Mac Air. Thanks

Mine had a Samsung drive in it. 24 pin LIF. Most are 40 pin. You have to be super careful to get the correct one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KALEA-INFORMA...
