How and what screen should I use to replace the screen? old damaged
need to replace my screen and i need to know how to do it. and with what screen.

Hi,
Here is a link to the service manual for your laptop taken from this HP webpage
Scroll to p.59 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the display assembly.
At the top of p.58 you'll find the part numbers for the two types of displays available for your model laptop.
''Raw display panel (39.6-cm [15.6-in], HD, WLED, BrightView)
For use in models without a touch screen 813959-001
For use in models with a touch screen 813961-001''
To confirm the part number for your particular type of display, the number may also possibly be found stamped on the back of the display panel. You'll have to remove it first to find it of course.
Search online using the part number only in the search box of your browser, to find suppliers of the part.

Hey bud, if you search eBay with the following “Hp 15-af131dx lcd” you will find what you need to order.
Then YouTube will show you how to replace it. If you search google with “hp 15-af131dx lcd replacement” and watch the first video, it may not be exactly the same but it will be close enough for you to work out what you need to do.
