The Dyson Ball Animal was released early 2014, identified by model number DC 65. This Dyson vacuum was built off of the previous DC 41 model. The DC 65 model provides better suction power and the brushbar is 25% more powerful. It also is suitable for two more surfaces.

The brush isn’t spinning on the bottom

I gotta carpet piece tangled in it and when I got it loose I noticed the brush isn’t spinning anymore. I cleaned everything out but it still isn’t working, is there a drive belt for the brush head?

I called Dyson and found that the motor turning the bar burned out. I replaced the whole assembly for under $100.
