Viewfinder blank LCD screen working

You may have a loose connection to the electronic viewfinder (evf) assembly or perhaps the viewfinder is faulty and needs to be replaced.

It's not a recommendation to use them. It is shown to give an idea what it looks like and what the cost is.

There are other suppliers online that may suit you better. Just search for Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 EH0825 (the EH0825 is the part number for the viewfinder).

I cannot find a service manual for the camera to show how to replace the viewfinder, but here's a link to the ifixit Remplacement de la carte mère du Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 guide which may be of some help to gain access to the viewfinder flex cable connection and perhaps the viewfinder as well.
