Not charging after replacing battery

Hi, i just received a new battery for my Xperia Z3+ Dual (LIS1579ERPC).

I replaced it and it's not charging anymore. Conector seems to work because it makes the sound when connected and PC recognizes it but battery icon does not change to charging status and under batter menu it says "not charging".

Tried with USB and original charger. Both with the same result.

New battery is on 20% charge. I didn't do what the note inside the package says to drain it to 10% and charge it to 100% uninterrupted because of the problem explained above.

I tried putting back the old battery and it's charging OK. I don't have another phone to try the new battery.

What can i do?

Options

It's a faulty battery. Try contacting the supplier / seller you got it from for a replacement.

Thanks, i bought it from iFixit and used a forwarder so sending it back for a replacement is not an option.
