Power port will only charge when tip of adaptor is propped up.

Power port will only charge when the tip of the adaptor is propped up. The internal port does not seem loose. Suggestions?

sweeney07  actually it is not soldered to the board! The C655D-S5084 use an AC DC Power Jack Plug Socket Cable . All you have to do is to replace the cable. You can get it at places like this. No soldering required! Use this guide Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5084 Cooling Fan Replacement to get to the cable
