2107 MacBook Pro Function keys SSD swap into a 2016 Function keys mode
Anyone know if the 2017's SSD will work in the 2016?

If you have a mid 2017 function keys model and a late 2016 function keys model the SSD should be interchangeable.

@mayer I did some searching and I came to this conclusion.
@ajcooke01 As you may be aware, I try to take some time everyday to work on old questions.
@mayer You are one of the good ones among us. I try and do the same, but most of the time the questions that go unanswered are the ones that are not understandable, hard to answer or just simply just not answerable at all.

You’ll need to wait until IFIXIT has had a chance to open one up to see what Apple has setup.
