in my deskjet HP Deskjet F4480 the cover is open appears while opening the device i found a Arm disassociated unable to find it where it was form please help

step 4… on the left hand side of the top lid assembly is a piece that looks very similar to the part you have. I would take a look in that area and see whether you have the part attached, if there is evidence that some plastic has worn off. Démontage du couvercle supérieur HP Deskjet F4480
