Where to buy Apple Genuine SSD

After careful consideration and consultation, I’ve decided to buy Genuine Apple Blade SSD in order to properly boost up my hard-disk performance. My question is; where can I find and buy them ? Can someone point me in proper direction? (I’ve already checked Amazon and BeetsTech, they don’t have much alternatives)

What are you looking for?

256 GB or 512 GB Blade SSD to replace 24GB SSD. I decided to go with your idea of splitting the Fusion Drive apart in order to have Dual Drive. So I'd have Genuine Apple Flash SSD (256GB or 500 GB) to run my system and my apps, and use already existing Seagate 1TB Hard-Disk to store some data.

Where can I find and buy these Genuine Apple SSDs?

And of course, I will add some RAM too. But it is a rather straight-forward process than SSDs

Here’s the full listing of the BeetsTech SSD’s SSD’s for 2015 A1419 systems. That’s who I use.

If you live in Europe then TheBookYard - SSD’s for 2015 A1419 systems also works.

Yes, supply is tight so often times I need to wait until they get restocked.

Thanks Dan,

1)Is there a read/write speed difference between 512GB Apple Blade SSD and 1TB Apple Blade SSD?

2)After reading a lot about this for a week, I understand some of the late 2015 iMAc 27 use PCIe 2.0 x2 while some other use PCIe 3.0 x4. I've checked from System Report's NVMExpress to see, it says: Link width: 4 Link speed: 5 G/T.

So my system supports PCIe 3.0 x4 right? or did I get it wrong ?

One more question: SSD's at BeetsTech are new right ? Not used or recycled?

par

Your system supports PCIe 2.0 either x2 or x4 lanes.

Are you sure? When I enter my iMac's serial number, that's the one BeetsTech shows: https://beetstech.com/product/solid-stat...

par

Then you have a iMac17,1 model. Go for it!
