Mongoose rear brake fix, spring is disconfigured
How do I purchase and fix the rear right side brake spring on a mongoose bmx bike? the pad will not spring away from the rim.

Hi,
You could always try contacting Mongoose or depending on your location, one of their international distributors to find out if the part is available and where you can get it from.
Here’s a link to a manual for a Mongoose bike.
On p.15 you’ll find a description of the bike parts and on p.35-40 it details how to adjust the brakes.
Hopefully this may be of some help.

I believe Mongoose uses standard brake parts. Take it to your local bike shop, or post a picture of the brake assembly.
